Our gorgeous Whitley Bay flat is accessed from a pedestrianised street via a shared porch with the downstairs flat. Once through the private door you will find a wide entrance hall, ideal for storing your shoes and coats. Up the 17 stairs is the main living area, bathroom and bedroom 1. A further bedroom is located in the loft. Our kitchen and living area has everything you would expect for your stay. Along with a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and Blu-ray player. We will leave some milk in the fridge along with coffee, tea and biscuits so you can put your feet up on arrival. Just let us know if you need a cot, high chair and stair gate. You will find lots of information in the flat about local activities, places to eat and drink, walks, and attractions further afield. We have provided some books, games and DVDs to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We can arrange storage for bikes and provide routes if you would like to explore our excellent cycle network. Guests have access to the entire property. We live directly opposite the flat, so we can be as available as you like during your stay. However, our level of interaction is up to you and we can offer a contact free self-check in if that is what you would prefer. The flat is situated on a quiet residential street, just off Park View - a vibrant shopping street of independent retailers, cafés and micro bars. We are just 10 minutes' from Whitley Bay beach and the beautiful Spanish City Dome. Whitley Bay has so much to offer from beach life to water sports; fish and chips to gourmet eating. We also have award-winning ice-creams, local theatre, seaside amusements and an amazing independent cinema. The area has an excellent network of walks and safe cycle routes, allowing you to explore further afield. We are ideally situated for exploring Whitley Bay from the town centre to St Mary's Island. Cullercoats and Tynemouth, are just a coastal walk or short Metro ride away. We are located close to Monkseaton Metro Station and 30 minutes on the Metro will take you into the bustle of Newcastle and the national rail network; a short drive will allow you to explore the wild, natural beauty of Northumberland with it’s amazing coast, castles and hills. We will provide a permit for parking in the adjacent streets.
