WinterBerry Barn is a gorgeous 1 bedroom cottage with everything you could possibly need for a cosy country getaway. Every aspect of the property is finished to the highest standard. Oak finish throughout with raw natural beams flowing through the property to really give it that warm country feel. Bed setee Close to all the wonderful local amenities such as the beautiful market town of romsey only a 5 minute drive! Also the beautiful historic city of Winchester is only situated 15 mins away. Beautiful cosy cottage with an open plan kitchen living room area. Everything throughout is finished in english oak, the natural oak beams seamlessly add that rustic country feel to the property. The natural wooden floors run throughout the bottom level of the property. Being situated right in the heart of the countryside we wanted the property to reflect its surroundings. The cottage has a warm country feel, as soon as you step in the property and hang up your wellies you really do feel like you're stepping into your own country retreat.Set in 15 acres of the countryside. Entertainment: At the cottage we want you to have every home comfort, on the 55 inch Flat screen you will have access to Netflix, Amazon Prime. The Village of Braishfield is in itself beautiful and very quiet whilst being very close to all the wonderful local attractions and history of Southern England. The oak french doors open up and outside is a comfy seating area with firepit. Sometimes it's nice to stay in have a glass of wine by the fire and stare at the stars! There is a rustic oak barn door that separates the Lounge/Kitchen area.The lounge has a brand new corner sofa which also doubles up as a sofa bed allowing two more guests to sleep .Slide the door open and there is a wardrobe area and utilities room with a state of the art washing machine & tumble dryer for those wet walks in the countryside! The bathroom is brand new finished with luxurious ceramics and a walk in shower with LED light function! As you come to the glass and oak staircase and are ready to retreat for the night you hit the brand new soft carpets of the upstairs. The bedroom is the entire size of the downstairs, there is a makeup table which can also double up as a suitable study desk. Perfect for those who want to relax and still get a little bit of work done too! The bed itself is a luxury Super King with a state of the art memory foam mattress. Finished with cosy yet stylistic vibes, think cosy with a element of fun! A 32 inch tv is hidden away in a window alcove and can be brought out on its bracket for perfect TV viewing in bed and hidden away when not in use. The upstairs also features a stunning electric fireplace to really make you feel at home. Just to note we love the seasonal festivities e.g Halloween and Christmas especially. So please do expect extravagant decorations around the property during these seasons! We are always on hand to help in any way we can. We love to meet people and do our utmost to assist any needs that you may have. We want you to feel like its your home for your stay and we know that people want privacy so we will simply give you our number and are always on hand via (Hidden by Airbnb) etc to assist you if you do need anything! As you approach the property you will find a set of security gates upon your arrival. Pass through the gates and enter your own little countryside haven! The location of the property means there is an abundance of wildlife you will encounter. Pheasants, deer, ducks frequent the area and there are always sheep, pigs & cows to see on your walks around the area. Only a 10 minute drive from the award winning Paultons Park! There are many breathtaking walks all around the property. The most famous of them being Monarchs way, the route taken by King Charles II after his escape from defeat by Cromwell. This walk actually runs around the back of the property and up through our field at the top of the property! Braishfield is very lucky to have 2 fantastic country pubs both situated within a stone's throw from each other. It takes only a matter of beautiful countryside walking minutes to reach either of these pubs. Both do fantastic food, local ales and feature many different themed nights including live bands, pie nights, BBQ's etc. There is also a lovely village shop within walking distance that sells most of the things you will need most of it all naturally grown around the area. With some other little niceties of course! There are fantastic bus routes that run frequently throughout the day taking you into Romsey. From Romsey you can access Winchester and beyond. There is a very good taxi service operating from Romsey also Samtax & Romcars. Others also easy to find the details on (Hidden by Airbnb) . 2 Brand new bikes with helmets are available for use to explore the countryside in style.
