The Cart Lodge..with FIREPIT & TRAMPOLINE

The Cart Lodge set within its own south facing garden, surrounded by views of beautiful Suffolk countryside. Plenty of lovely walks from the front door, a golf course and a selection of traditional pubs are not far away. Only 25 minute drive to the coast of Aldeburgh, 15 minutes to the market town of Woodbridge and less than 10 to Framlingham, home to the famous Framlingham Castle. The Cart Lodge is neutrally painted throughout with accents of blues and tastefully furnished in contemporary style. Wine, tea, coffee and cake on arrival to help you unwind and there is also a Tassimo machine so do please bring your own coffee pods with you. Whilst none of the bedrooms have en suite facilities, there are 2 bathrooms. The main bathroom upstairs has toilet, basin and bath with shower attachment whilst the downstairs shower room has toilet, basin and shower. A FIREPIT area has been created ready for re opening after lockdown (April (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) where you can sit and watch the sun set whilst roasting marshmallows, S'mores and hot chocolate. The existing trampoline has been moved into the same area so you can safely watch your children and enjoy family time together. Wood bundles including kindling, logs and firelighter and a S'mores/hot chocolate bundle are both available to purchase at £5 each from The Cart Lodge using an honesty box. Please do not bring your own wood. The garden is all south facing with patio area and BBQ making this a relaxing place to stay. Please note that feral cats live in the farm barns and will pay you a visit, especially if it is warm as they love to sleep in the sun on the patio. Please note that dogs are not accepted either to stay or visit if meeting up with friends. A washing machine/dryer is available for use during stays of 5 nights or more although not in the property. Entire home with garden, plenty of parking and private. Although we live next door, I will not disturb you unless needed. Do please feel free to message me if you need anything and I can pop over. Brandeston is a quaint village with one pub. Excellent village hall offering tennis court, zip wire, basketball, football and childrens play equipment. Plenty of beautiful walks and home to Brandeston School (the junior school to Framlingham College) which sits beautifully on the River Deben. Electric Cars It is becoming apparent that more guests are staying here with electric cars and bringing with them a charging cable to plug into the electricity supply. An overnight charge is not a huge amount in terms of cost ( (Hidden by Airbnb) suggests somewhere between £7 - £10 depending on vehicle) however, if every guest staying here does an overnight charge then the bill mounts up, especially when some guests turn up with 2 electric vehicles!! I have no concerns in guests plugging in their cars but a courtesy message would be appreciated and a nightly donation left in the honesty jar would also help towards the electricity used. Thank you Please note that during school half term break (one week), bookings can not be made for a mid week stay and must include a weekend (unless your vacating date coincides with arrival of next guests). Please also consider when looking at the availability calendar that as I have a 3 night minimum stay - if the dates you choose leave a 1 or 2 night gap before the next guests, this will not be accepted.
