Detached peaceful house with lovely sea views and nearby beaches

Villa Rigata is on the southern edge of the very Greek village of Mavrata, in a very quiet position, with lovely sea views. There are two double bedrooms, and two single guest beds, one in the large living room, and one in the spacious entrance lobby. The lounge has a flat screen TV with all UK channels available live, together with video on demand. There is a spacious covered terrace with sea views, comfortable John Lewis chairs and a glass top table, and a separate BBQ/Dining area, also with John Lewis furniture, all especially imported from the UK. A further small terrace area, also with sea views, is furnished with recliners, to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the tranquility of Villa Rigata. The garden consists of individual terraced areas with many pots, and although it's not large, it is beautiful, and a special feature of the property. Due to the different terrace levels, we would not recommend Villa Rigata to anyone with a disability or with small active children. Villa Rigata is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so there is no passing traffic. In high season, Petros, the local mini-market owner, puts a few tables and chairs outside and serves char-grilled souvlaki and refreshments. Petros is only 100 metres from Villa Rigata. There is also a very good restaurant, Eleios Grillhouse, which is open every evening and all year round, and which is only a short leisurely walk from Villa Rigata. The food is traditional Greek, but also includes vegetarian options. It's very much a family affair, with Costas doing the cooking, and his son Demitrius looking after the guests. The grilled seafood is highly recommended, but beware, the portions are huge!
