The property is totally private and provides stylish self contained studio accommodation away from the main house. It comprises a well equipped kitchen area, a luxurious en-suite shower room and a south facing private patio garden which offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Situated just two miles from the beautiful market town of Marlborough and near the ancient sites of Avebury and Silbury Hill, it offers the ideal country retreat to relax and unwind. Little Langside provides excellent accommodation and is situated away from the main house with its own pretty south facing garden. It is accessed along a lavender lined gravel path to the right of the garage which opens out onto your own private terrace. You enter the property through french doors which give lovely views of the garden and valley beyond. The newly refurbished interior has been decorated in soft, muted greys to create a calm space in which to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside setting. The studio comprises a very well equipped kitchen area with a built in fridge, ceramic hob and oven, a living and dining space with a table and chairs for dining, a small sofa, a 32" flat screen TV, generous wardrobe space and a very comfortable king size bed. There are USB plugs either side of the bed. Double french doors open onto your own terrace for summer breakfasts and al fresco dining. The en-suite shower room has a large luxury walk in rain shower fitted with beautiful natural stone tiles, quality fittings and an electric heated towel rail. Little Langside is kept warm and cosy with modern, thermostatically controlled electric heating appliances. Little Langside is set in well kept mature gardens and the main house is situated down a quiet lane in beautiful, unspoilt countryside. There is a dedicated parking space to the left of the drive for your exclusive use. The entire space is for guests' use and with your own entrance you can come and go as you please. Sheila and Simon are usually around to meet and greet guests on arrival. We live in the adjacent house so please feel free to knock on the door or contact us via Airbnb if you need anything during your stay. We have lived here for over 20 years and so we are both very knowledgeable about the area and can be on hand to offer advice and recommendations about what to do and where to go. Our home is situated down a quiet country lane surrounded by arable farmland and offers wonderful views over the rolling Wiltshire downland. The neolithic sites of Avebury, Silbury Hill and Kennet Longbarrow are a stone's throw away and glorious West Woods with its stunning carpet of bluebells in the Spring is on our doorstep. The historic town of Marlborough is just two miles away with its stylish shops and abundance of great restaurants and cafes. Public transport is limited so a car is highly recommended for visiting local towns and historic sites. There are many lovely walks from the door so bring walking boots if you want to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside on foot. We are perfectly situated to explore areas further afield by car such as Bath, Bristol, Salisbury and Oxford (all 1 hour) and the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge (45 mins). The charming market town of Devizes is just 20 minutes away. You may check in any time after 4pm and we would ask that you please check out by 10am. We provide a welcome pack of basics such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.
