The Barford Inn is a coaching Inn dating back to the 16th Century. Today, a traditional country pub preserving its original features, offering traditional pub food, cosy atmosphere and good quality accommodation. The rooms located in a separate building on the pub grounds are all en suite and are ideal for business or pleasure travelers. The Barford Inn is an English Village pub, which kept its original charm and character, where history is being told from every corner. Our bar area is cosy but spacious whilst the local pub atmosphere is present at all times. Our ”locals” will always welcome you with a smile and some exciting village stories. You can enjoy a drink or something to eat in our large green beer garden, peacefully located away from the main road. Our 4 comfortable rooms are an ideal place to stop if you need a rest half way during your journey or came to visit the medieval city of Salisbury or the misterious Stonehenge and need a convenient base to come back to. At the Barford Inn we have made it our mission to serve traditional English pub food, freshly cooked in our kitchen, each dish to remind you through aroma and flavour of the old homemade recipes you grew up with. Whilst staying at the Barford Inn you can use the garden and patio areas at any time, whilst the Restaurant and Bar are open every day for your enjoyment. The Grovely Woods and the river Nadder are within walking distance from the pub, withthe medieval town of Salisbury located just 5 miles away and the Stonehenge within a 20 min drive. The Barford Inn has a large car park which can be used by the guests free of charge. The best way to get around is by car. However, there is a bus service for the nearby towns & Salisbury with a station just outside the pub.
