Puncheur Place is a semi-detached cottage on a private Estate in the middle of cycling country at the foot of Ide Hill nr Hever. It is quiet yet accessible to dozens of pubs/golf. The garden is west facing and large. Perfect for outdoor picnics. The cottage is not huge, but cozy. Many footpaths. This is Tudor County so many period properties and pubs nearby. Indeed our Estate was once owned by Thomas Boleyn, then Mary Boleyn after the beheading of her sister Anne in 1533. #puncheurplace Puncheur Place is on a private road so it is relatively quiet and surrounded by barley and oat fields. The outside area has been developed to cater to cyclists. There is secure storage, pump, washing down area and outdoor laundry room. The 5 beds are comfy with French linen bedding. There is a wood burner in the lounge for romantic winter evenings away from the hustle and bustle of London. The cottage and garden is for your exclusive use. A footpath and a bridle way run through the Estate so one can obviously use them. We have a team at Henden Manor who are available if there are any questions or problems. We want your stay to be delightful. Sleepy, oak lined lanes, hill climbs, warm pubs, friendly coffee shops, beautiful historic architecture and stunning pastoral views awaits you in West Kent. Hever Golf Course is 10 mins away. A perfectly relaxing weekend destination, only miles from South London. We are 40 mins from Gatwick and 10 mins off the M25. The cottage is on a footpath and bridleway so you can come by horse, bike or car! There is parking for up to 2 vehicles. If coming by train you can arrive via Edenbridge or Sevenoaks. Taxis from Sevenoaks cost roughly £15. Edenbridge is around £10. Trainservice from London to Sevenoaks is every20 mins and takes about 30 mins from London Bridge.
