Rural location on the edge of a small Derbyshire village of Holymoorside

The Cottage is all on one level with ample private parking. The lounge has a feature stone fireplace with a wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge and microwave. Laundries facilities are situated next to the cottage in the outhouse; there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, you are also able to store bicycles in here and it is lockable. Outside there is a secure garden area, including a patio seating area for four next to the brook. The bird feeders outside the cottage attract a good variety of local birds and are a joy to watch. Pets are welcome by arrangement with a small charge. We are 1 mile from the village shop, churches and public houses and 2 miles from a large supermarket and there is a regular village bus service into Chesterfield. Holymoorside Village is ¾ mile from the cottage. There are two pubs, the Bulls Head serves restaurant and bar meals and the Lamb Inn has a good selection of real ales. There is also a village shop with basic essentials and newspapers. There are many footpaths available locally offering beautiful walks both short and long. Holymoorside is situated on the edge of the Peak District and is in easy reach of both Chatsworth and Haddon Estates. The busy market towns of Chesterfield and Bakewell are a short drive away, both offer good shopping facilities.
