The Stables at Owlett Hall

We have converted our redundant stable building to, for want of a better term, a Bed & Breakfast Annexe. Bed & Breakfast or Holiday Cottage – You decide! The Stables has a 4 star rating from Enjoy England. The stable is set apart from the main house and consists a spacious & airy living room with a mezzanine floor containing the bedroom area. The stable has its own fully equipped kitchen and wet-room shower/wc. The stable also has free broadband Wi-Fi. Guests have full exclusive access to the stables. There is a large double bed. We are only just across the yard from the stable sand will leave you to your own devices. However if you do need help with anything at all you only need to ask. Crowle, itself, is a former market town which has many old and interesting buildings. There are a number of Pubs and Restaurants that serve evening meals. If you don’t want to go out there are Chinese, Indian, Pizza and Fish & Chips takeaways. Crowle is situated just 3 miles North of junction 2 of the M180 in the historic Isle of Axholme, North Lincolnshire. Located between the historic cities of York & Lincoln makes it a convenient place from which to explore this interesting region of England. BY CAR: Come off the M180 at Junction 2 and follow the A161 in the direction of Goole. In the centre of Crowle at the market place you will pass through a set of traffic lights. Shortly after this you will pass a Tesco Express supermarket on the left. Take the next left into Cross Street. On the left you will see the Lock, Stock and Barrel Public House. The entrance to our yard is immediately after this – drive straight on in. If you wish to follow Sat Nav instructions use the post code for the pub DN17 4LJ – if you follow our postcode the Sat Nav will try and get you to drive down Printing Office Lane. BY TRAIN: We are about 1 mile from Crowle Station which has a frequent service from Doncaster – though unfortunately no service on a Sunday. On foot it takes about 20 to 30 minutes. If you need picking up we can arrange for a Taxi to pick you up at your cost. BY AIR: The nearest airports are Robin Hood Doncaster which is about 18 miles away and Humberside Airport which is about 25 miles away.
