Welcome to Mill House Cottage Studio a beautiful refurbished spacious self contained living space with separate modern kitchen and shower room. Located in the tranquil farming village of Wistow, approx 10 mins drive from Huntingdon, A14/A1. The village was built around the church (Domesday Book 1086) which stands opposite The Three Horseshoes pub. Close road links to St Ives, St Neots, Ramsey, Peterborough, Ely & Cambridge Many local walks for the enthusiast. Wi-fi and off street parking. Our studio is self contained within a gated residence including a separate kitchen, shower room, Tv area and dining area. In the kitchen you will find a Nespresso coffee machine with a separate milk heater / frother for that perfect cup of coffee, a microwave oven, electric hob, electric oven, kettle, toaster, washing machine with dryer and a full size fridge freeze . There will be a complimentary welcome breakfast basket on arrival and you will find a supply of tea, coffee, milk and basic essentials. In the shower room you will find an enclosed shower, towels, shampoo , conditioner, shower gel and a hairdryer. In the TV area there is a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV compatible with Netflix, Prime etc and a 2 seater sofa. The dining area comprises 2 stools and a bar like table. Outside you will find a love seat with table for those sunny days. We live on the premises so are here to help if you need anything. We look forward to meeting you. Entrance is via a gated gravel drive. Parking space for 1 car is provided however there is plenty safe off street parking for a further vehicle just around the corner if needed. We live on the premises so we are here to help. We do have a dog which is kept in our private area and a couple of cats which roam outside. The Three Horseshoes pub opens everyday and is just 50 metres along the road, serving local draught ales and pub food . We are within a 5 minute drive to Ramsey, Broughton or a 10 minutes drive to Kings Ripton where you will find an assortment of Gastro pubs, restaurants and numerous takeaways. There is also a farm complex in one of the neighbouring villages called Johnson's of Oldhurst with a lovely farm shop, coffee shop and Steak House. Several other villages are just a 15 minutes drive such as the historic market town of St Ives is a must, it is a beautiful interesting town with pedestrian area and cafes overlooking the river. The busway from St.Ives to Cambridge (Park and Ride) with free parking is a great way to access the historic university city and enjoy punting on the river Cam. Or you can just chill and relax or go on one of our numerous delightful country walks over the fields maybe ending up in a pub or 2 ! The best way to get around is by car. However we have many lovely walks in the area.
