The Stables a Cosy Country Retreat

Cosy first floor apartment set in the beautiful Charnwood Forest countryside close to local amenities and a 25 min walk from the local village pub. The town and Supermarkets are a 5 minuet drive away. East Midlands Airport & Donington Race track only 10 minuet drive away. M1 Junction 23 is 3 miles. The Stables is above unused stables and a perfect retreat for a few nights away. The farmhouse and hosts are on the other side of the yard with no view of the stable block hence its very private. The property has been renovated with a new kitchen, carpets and soft furnishings. Your hosts are always available but equally will not disturb your stay. The flat set back off the road down a farm driveway. We run a family soft furnishing business from the farm. A footpath runs through the farm which connects to lovely countryside walks in the area. Visit Blackbrook Reservoir, Mount St Bernard Abbey, Iveshead, Bradgate Park to mention a few. It would be advisable to have a car for exploring the area although it is possible to catch buses from the top of the lane. If you were wanting to explore by walking there are plenty of footpaths.
