Cosy secluded garden cottage

The cottage is situated in a completely private, quiet garden away from the world. You'll have complete privacy. Your car/bikes/motorbike are safe behind a closed gate, invisible from the street. Check-OUT only on weekends or tuesday There is one large bedroom with a double bed and in the large bathroom there is a single bed for an additional guest. The single bed could be moved to the other room if needed. An additional baby bed (max. 2 year) could be provided on request. The complete garden house is at your disposal. Remote control for the barrier and gate are provided. Large secluded garden. Ideal for children, they can't get away. After a short introduction we'll leave you alone unless you have other questions of course. Upstairs you'll have 100%privacy, downstairs are some personal belongings that we might need access to, but we'll try to limit this as much as possible. Aalter is an ideal location for biking tours or as a 'basecamp' to visit Ghent (25 km) , Bruges (25 km), Antwerp (80 km, on your way to Amsterdam ?) or the coast (35 km). There are about 5 guided biking tours most of which pass at 200m from our house. The house is located at 250m from the central market square with numerous restaurants. Bakery and typical Belgian Frietkot (french fries) at 200m. Aalter is situated on the main highway E40 It is also located on the prime railway connection between Brussels-Ghent-Aalter-Bruges-Ostend. At least 2 trains per hour towards Ghent or Bruges (only 15 min. journey) The house is completely away from the street behind a closed gate; meaning that your car/bike/motorbike can be left behind without any problem. Bike hire is possible (150 m from the house). If you arrive late on a saturday evening we can arrange your bikes to be available for the next morning.
