Unique and original 2 room apartment for 1-4 people. Corridor, kitchen (stove with 4 vitro ceramic hot plates and microwave), bathroom, flatscreen TV, free WiFi and landline, Finnish log sauna. All colors are organic/ based on plants. Mininum booking: 2 nights. electricity cost: 0,30 EUR/kwh, Sauna per day 15 EUR extra. Dear Guests, you'll find the perfect escape from your day-to-day stress in this beautiful and quiet little getaway. You could enjoy a glass of wine sitting in the sun on the terrace or spend an evening in the garden watching the stars and listening to the sounds of the german barn owls. You might even see them flying gracefully overhead through the night sky. The apartment has a very comfy and original interior and the walls are painted with organic, plant-based colors in soft, warm shades of yellow and orange. There are a living room, a bedroom which provides a queen size bed with two separate mattresses (80x200cm each), a bathroom with underfloor heating and a spacious walk-in shower with glass walls. The kitchen is replete with new and high quality kitchen ware (stove with four vitro ceramic hot plates, refrigerator, freezer and microwave with a grill function). If needed, an additional bed for a child can be added. The perfect opportunity to relax is the Finnish log sauna integrated into the apartment and ready to use whenever you like with no additional charge. Included in the booking of the apartment are free WiFi and landline, the Sauna, a German “fire basket” (a comfortable and safe-for-children way to have a bonfire) and a ping pong table. For a small fee you can also rent well maintained bicycles (plus one child sized bicycle). On beautiful paths, close to nature with little traffic or tourism (but still well signposted) you can explore the magnificent sights of the Teufelsmoor. It's only a short ride until you reach the little villages Fischerhude and Worpswede, a refuge for artists who exhibit and sell unique and creative pieces. Of course I am available to you (almost) all day in case you have any questions. During my working hours etc. there will be a contact person at home if you need any help or information. Also there is a parking space included on the terrain. The apartment is located on a spacious farmstead with horses, cats, dogs, chicken and friendly, helpful neighbors. However there is enough space for everyone not to disturb each other’s peace. Public transport is fairly sparse. A bus to and from Bremen stops 4km away. If you are traveling by train the closest stops are Ottersberg (15km away), Achim (20km), and Rotenburg Wümme (22km). If necessary, I would be happy to pick you up. Right next door there is a small farm shop which sells some organic food. The next big, completely organic grocery store is 15km away. A doctor and a large supermarket can be found 5km away. Discounter 8km away. A garage is also close by. Check in is from 3pm, check-out is 12am on the day of your departure and the apartment should be swept clean. It will be thoroughly cleaned prior to the arrival of each guest which costs an additional 30€. When booking the apartment there will be a 20% deposit which can be refunded upon cancellation up to 6 weeks before your arrival. The rent and cleaning fee have to be paid in cash upon arrival. One or two more guests you might decide to bring along spontaneously would be absolutely no problem and will only have to pay a small additional fee.
