Get away from it all with a stay at our quiet, family cottage and enjoy the natural and rugged beauty of the Bay of Fundy. This is the perfect home base if you're looking to check out local attractions such as Five Islands Park, Fundy Geological Museum, Joggins Fossil Cliffs or Cape D'Or. Or if you're looking to unwind and enjoy some country living. Bike along the quiet country roads, hike to one of the many waterfalls in the area or head to the beautiful beaches for some swimming or fishing. You'll feel cozy and at home in our comfortable, well equipped 3 bedroom cottage. 2 bedrooms boast double beds and another room has bunkbeds for the kids. Stay warm and toasty with our wood burning stove and the well equipped kitchen and bbq are ready to go for all your cooking needs. You'll have plenty of space to relax or play both indoors and out. Sit under the trees reading and drinking coffee. Play washer toss or bocce and finish your day relaxing by the campfire. We'll be available by phone and text throughout your stay as well as have helpful family members right next door. The area has much to offer. Some of our family's favorites are: -Mass Town Market for amazing baked goods, seafood, groceries and more -That Dutchman's Farm for world famous. homemade cheese, trail walking and petting farm -Hiking and kayaking at Thomas Cove -Antique Shopping in Great Village -Great food, music, theatre and fossil museum in Parrsborro -Incredible food and views at Cape D'Or -Truro Farmer's Market and walking and biking trails at Victoria Park in Truro Farther afield: Joggins UNESCO Fossil Cliffs Tidal Rafting in Maitland Tatamogouche- beaches, brewery, farmer's market Halifax- Halifax Citadel, Harbourfront, Museums, Entertainment Great biking and hiking in the area. Beautiful, quiet beach is a 5 minute drive away or check out some great swimming holes and beaches nearby.
