Welcome to Field Cottage: a unique and picturesque country ‘back' cottage set in the rural tranquillity of Earlswood, Solihull. Your ‘home from home', it ideally accommodates anyone needing a private and restful place to recharge in a tranquil environment, rather than being confined to a hotel. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed. Field Cottage offers one master bedroom with bathroom and one single bedroom downstairs; a full country-style kitchen and breakfast room and large lounge/dining room with 180° countryside views. The ‘back' cottage is located in the grounds of a larger cottage and, whilst they are connected, the back cottage is entirely independent, private and self-sufficient. Situated at the end of a long drive and surrounded by fields, this little haven is accessed via the main private gated driveway offering secure parking. The key benefit of Field Cottage is the level of flexibility we offer our guests. We can tailor every part of your stay to suit your exact needs: whether that's B&B for one night, a self catering accommodation basis where you do everything yourself, or if you're in need of a treat after a long day in the office, we can provide restaurant bookings, cinema options, laundry service and your own personal chauffeur. Additional services can be discussed at your time of booking and will be subject to costs over an above your accommodation fee. It is set in an acre of land and surrounded by a 8 acre paddock at your disposal for a summer's evening stroll to unwind or a brisk walk as the sun comes up to start your day off in the best possible way. Within walking distance you also have access to a public footpath up through the fields, Earlswood Lakes at one end of the lane and Earlswood Woods at the other. If that's not enough, you can also stroll down the lane and look around the Earlswood Lakes Craft Centre. If you're looking for a special country dining experience we highly recommend our two locals, The Red Lion or The Bulls Head, within the village. Whilst Field Cottage is situated in a completely rural location, it is still only ten minutes from the exclusive town of Solihull. If you're with us on business, the enigmatic village of Earlswood is just a ten minute drive from Solihull and 15 minutes from the NEC, Birmingham International Airport, Train Station and Business Park. A mainline train station is a 5 minute drive which can have you in Birmingham's Central Business District within half an hour of finishing your morning coffee. The shops and restaurants of Birmingham City Centre, Solihull, and Resorts World are less than half an hour away. If you're after a more cultured experience, it is also perfectly placed for theatre trips to Stratford upon Avon, or perhaps a refreshing ice cream in Henley in Arden! We also offer a personal chauffeur service at your disposal during your stay at Field Cottage, rates to be agreed upon request. Please be aware that the back garden is not accessible to guests. However, there is an 8 acre field you are free to stroll through as well as a quaint seating area and bench for early morning coffee in the sun at the top of the drive. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
