Peacock Cottage, only 3 miles of Alton Towers

Peacock Cottage is a self- catering Holiday cottage which is a converted out building at Windy Arbour Farm. The property is located within 3 miles of Alton Towers, yet is set in a beautiful rural location with lovely panoramic views and a delightful garden in which to relax. A very quiet location accessed by means of a single track road. There is plenty of off-road parking and outside seating space to chill and unwind after a hectic day. The Peak District is within a short drive away. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor, with the living and kitchen areas on the first floor. There is a double sofa bed in living area, and a double futon is accessed, via a ladder in the mezzanine. The second bathroom is on the first floor. The cottage is a detached property with private access door. Guests are welcome to enjoy all parts of the beautiful garden, which has been listed in the NGS yellow book. Check in is usually between 4pm and 7pm, but this is flexible if necessary. We are usually around between 9am and 11pm to answer any questions. A quiet rural location within 3 miles of Alton Towers. The village has the best large farm shop/cafe in the UK and a super local pub Lots of lovely walks nearby, but it is 1 mile to the nearest bus service and 5 miles to the nearest town and train station, so a car is recommended Cots and high chairs are available on request. The twin beds in the main bedroom can be made up as a king size bed, if requested at the time of booking. Sorry, no dogs.
