Suit walkers, site seeing, fell runners, bikers (secure storage facilities available, bikes left unattended at your own risk) or those who just want to escape. The cottage has everything you need, very peaceful and quiet with an enclosed patio. Enjoy the outdoors within easy reach of Chatsworth/Lyme Park/Buxton/Edale and Manchester. Your pet is also very welcome (only 1 small/medium) Cottage has its own entrance gate, front door and secure patio. Shared driveway. Guests are asked to park to the left side of the garage door. Hi we live in the house next door, guests are able to collect keys outside the cottage (key safe) and let themselves in. We love the outdoors and especially living in Hayfield. We are often around to welcome guests and are always available if you need any extra information or help to make your stay more comfortable. Check-in 3pm - Check-out 10am. 5 minutes walk from a village full of life and character; great places to eat out - 5 x pubs, 1 x restaurant, 3 x cafes plus a village store, newsagents, butchers, gift shop, florist and post office. Snake Path Bridleway literally at your doorstep. Bus connections into Glossop, Buxton and New Mills. Train Stations at New Mills Newtown & New Mills Central - 3 miles from Hayfield and Glossop - 5 miles from Hayfield. Services run to Manchester - approx 30 minute journey. You can walk from Hayfield to Edale and join up with the Pennine Way. Many walking visitors do not use their car for the whole week, but if you wish to explore further there are lots of wonderful walks close by; Monsel Trail, Goyt Valley, Buxton, Edale, Chatsworth, Lyme Park to name but a few. Please note that the seating area in the cottage is small and cosy, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. Hayfield is a village in the hills, access to the cottage is up a steep drive. You can park right outside the cottage.
