wooden attic bedroom in the hills in HX7
A recently renovated all-wood attic room with fifties and Japanese furniture and a Victorian bed (length 185cm). A second person can be accommodated in a new and authentic futon from Tokyo. Steep steps up and ceiling low under eaves. 45 mins from Leeds or Manchester in postcode HX7. The attic is the top floor of a pretty stone cottage up in the woods off the main Cragg Road. There is street parking and two good pubs close by for meals / getting out. Arrival and departure are flexible on and can be arranged quickly and easily on enquiry. There is wifi and there is a lovely Mexican tiled wet room for showers. Guests can help themselves to coffee and tea, or bring their own items for breakfast. As this is room rental only guests are not expected to inhabit the open plan living room/kitchen over the evening, though we are extremely relaxed with coming and goings. Guests are not invited to stay in the house during the daytimes. Relaxed family present in lower part of the house. We do not have much time to spare on socialising but we are friendly and accommodating if you need anything. We are used to traveling and meeting people. Mytholmroyd train station is 15 mins brisk walk, 10mins on bike down and maybe 15 up! Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd are both accessible from in front of the house on the Cragg Vale - Hebden Bridge hourly bus. No pets, backyard on to wild pasture.
