Wisteria Annex is a cosy one bedroom accommodation . Private entrance with private out door living spaces. Parking for two cars right next to your entrance . One shower room, one beautiful bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a sunny lounge with sky tv including sky movies & sky sports with Free Wi-Fi. Located near Mistley Towers near to the town of Manningtree. We are pet friendly but please let us know when booking that you well be bringing your pet . Secure sunny out door space with seating area and table and chairs for out door meals and a more shaded area under the Wisteria You will have the whole of the Annex to yourself ,plus your own private patio and out door area which is fully enclosed . There is also off road parking spaces for 2 cars right out side the Annex entrance. There is a key code box so know need for us to meet you on arrival . Yes we can be contacted, If need be, To help with any issues, Or advice on the local areas, There is also a combination key lock box There are lots of lovely countryside and river walks close by (The Essex Way Foot Path ) and cycle routes there is a bus stop just across the road, Buses go to Colchester Town / Harwich / Clacton / Ipswich and just a 10 min walk is Mistley Train Station, And a 5 to 10 min walk to a lovely fish and chip shop, And a lovely restaurant ( The Mistley Thorn) In the area of Mistley you have the walls and the famous witchfinder general Matthew Hopkins. At the Mistley walls you have boats, ice cream vans, you can sit along it’s a sandy area near the sailing club by the Crown Pub where they serve good home cooked food and lovely vegetarian meals . In the village there is Barclays bank two ATM machines small Tesco’s Italian pizza restaurant Lucca and there is a Coop just outside the village with big carpark and post office. Manningtree has a main line train into London Liverpool street, which is an hour away there is a very good restaurant in Mistley called the Mistley Thorn that won awards for their fish dishes. There is also a lovely friendly pub The Red lion that has live entrainment. Fish and chips, take away Chinese and Indian restaurants. There is a lovely heath food shop that has wonderful vegan /vegetarian food, a Café and a few more tea coffee shops in the town. There is a hairdresser barbers and boots the chemist. Surrounding areas are the Suffolk / Essex border with Hadleigh , Lavenham, Woodbridge and Long Melford, Kentwell Hall ,Clare, Jimmys farm and Alton Water all in Suffolk . Essex you have Dedham which is John Constable country the famous painter who painted Flatford Mill. Nearby there are the large towns of Ipswich and Colchester. Colchester is the oldest recorded town 1066 which has the well known Colchester castle with its Roman wall around the town with lots of lots of history. There is also the famous Colchester Zoo We are pet friendly but please let us know when booking that you well be bringing your pet .
