18th century elegance in a tranquil village setting

Built in 1720, Le Vieux Presbytère commands pride of place near the village centre. A fantastic venue for a reunion, multi-generation holiday, sabbatical, family holiday or retreat. Entering the grounds through large gates from the quiet street, there is parking at the front for two to four cars. More parking at the back. The grounds are enclosed by walls. The grounds, just less than an acre, have plenty of room to run and play on the grass. There is a covered barbecue area with table and chairs, and a small chapel. Have fun in the tree house. Front entrance to house on ground level and on first floor (see photos). The majestic staircase gives the interior its character. You might feel like you're living in a Jane Austen novel! On the ground floor, a tiled hall and laundry room. On the first floor, large salon, with TV and books. Elegant dining room which seats 10. This can be increased with the addition of another table, if required. Adjoining the dining room is the fully equipped kitchen with oven,stove, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and coffee percolator. Wonderful easterly views.
