Although you are in the very centre of the city (pedestrian area), it is very quiet as the studio is situated on the back side. Zelfs in Corona tijden is het er heerlijk vertoeven ! Om de hoek ligt het Valkenberg Park met mooie vijver en gezellig theehuis. Een bezoekje aan het gezellige Begijnhof met kruidentuintjes en poppenhuismuseum is zo meegepakt. De hippe wijk Belcrum, net achter het station, heeft HET stadsstrand van Breda, Belcrum Beach ! Gelegen op het Haveneiland. De wijk heeft zich ontwikkeld tot hippe hot-spot met bijzondere winkeltjes, galerietjes en horeca. Aan de haven bij het Spanjaards Gat zijn tal van terrassen en kan je op een bootje een rondvaart maken op de singels van Breda. In de Boschstraat, een van de oudste straten van Breda en het verlengde van de Veemarktstraat, bevind zich het Stedelijk Museum, Het Float House, Stripboekwinkel, De oudste Drogisterij van Breda, een Chocoladewinkel, De Fop-Sjop, Echt Brood, een Platenwinkel, Bloemenwinkel, Het Naaiatelier waar je een naaimachine kan huren per uur, Coffeeshop, Thaise massage, Typische restaurants met ieder hun eigen specialiteit.
