Light, spacious cottage in Cotswold village

We would like to welcome you to our lovely garden cottage in the Cotswolds. It is a fully-detached cottage with beautiful rural views. It is newly decorated and fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The property sits on the first floor above some beautiful stables (not for horses) with views on both sides and lots of natural light. There are many great places for walks nearby. The local village shop, butcher and pub is 10 mins walk and the town of Chipping Norton is 10 mins drive. The cottage is in the lovely Cotswold village of Chadlington. We are just 10 mins walk from the excellent local butcher, grocery shop, pub and cafe. They do good pizzas on Saturday night and have a wide selection of wine. Charlbury railway station is 5 mins drive with direct links to Oxford and Paddington, London (as well as many other big cities). We are ten mins drive from the lovely local town of Chipping Norton with its famous theatre (and Christmas pantomime). Oxford is just 30 mins drive too. The historic towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, and Woodstock are all within 15 minutes. Blenheim Palace (in Woodstock), the famous birthplace of Winston Churchill, is a wonderful day out. Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre, is 40 mins drive and a brilliant evening out. The area is famous for local gastro pubs, including the King's Head (in Bledington) which wins the Best Pub of the Year award two years running.The renowned farm shop of Daylesford is also 15 mins drive away, which also has a spa, restaurant and delicious local organic food. If it is golf you are looking for, there are two good courses within 10 minutes drive. Cot available for a baby if required.
