Country Estate in Cold Spring

Located within walking distance of historic downtown Cold Spring yet bordering Hudson Highland State Park, this five bedroom house has it all. the perfect location, privacy and ease of access. The home is ideal for family get togethers, or gatherings of any kind ( due to the covid-19 rules we are curretly limited to 14 guest max.) Nestled in the foothills of the Hudson Highlands, situated on five level acres our home is an ideal getaway, private yet within walking distance of Cold Spring Main Street and Metro North Railway Station. The main house is very open and comfortable with a large eat in kitchen and dining (Website hidden by Airbnb) are 5 bedrooms, 3 full bath and 2 half bathrooms. Ground floor entertainment includes bar with pool table, and separate ping pong room (we love table tennis!) Ground floor walks out to 44' in-ground pool. The pool cabana has a screened in room, fitted as an extra bedroom during the summer. Hiking trails to Bull Hill and Breakneck Ridge start in our backyard. Our lawn is a level one acre, suited for any sport you can think of and there is also a half court for shooting hoops. We also have Kayaks available to explore the Hudson. Whole house, pool, yard. As much as required, as little as desired. We will be present on the property during your stay. We respect the privacy of our guests and keep a low profile. We are here to help, answer questions and to fix things and to feed our animals. Cold Spring is truly unique and amazing! Go to the Hamptons, you'll get the beach, come to Cold Spring and you'll get everything else. Literally! Metro North Hudson Line, one hour to Manhattan Please take note there is an apartment attached to the main house. Most likely we will be staying there to take care of the farm. The main house rental includes your exclusive use of the pool area and the grounds surrounding the house. The house is very secluded with no visible neighbors but we are within earshot of Cold Spring Village, and we do have neighbors. After 10 PM excessive noise needs to be kept inside the house. Continued use of the pool may require daily maintenance. This will be done early morning. The pool is a barefoot area so no glass on the grass please.
