The Forest is Calling! Tipi

Would you like to camp at our campsite in the forest? But you would rather not pitch your own tent? Then you can rent a furnished tipi from us! This tent is equipped for 3 persons and is centrally located on our campsite. Our tipi tents are new and will be used for the first time this season. For this reason you will see on the pictures the interior of our Bell tent, the interior of the tipi will largely correspond to these pictures. This furnished tent is approximately 28 m2 in size and is additionally equipped with a spacious 10m2 wooden terrace. In this tipi you will have almost everything you will need during your stay: a good double bed and a single bed, nice seats, a simple equipped kitchen and a wood stove. Outside we put a fire bowl with wood for you. So you can spend the evening outside as well. The toilet and shower are within walking distance in the shared bathhouse (yes, also with underfloor heating and hot water produced by the sun). Our Tipi is situated on campingsite Het Bos Roept! I, Gidus, live on the terrain and can be reached at all times (by phone) for questions and help! Believe me, as soon as you stay here, the ordinary thinking stops. No more of the daily routine. Look around you, smell the forest air, take a breath and open up. You will feel the peace descend in you...and...wow!...that is a wonderful feeling. Our nature campsite Het Bos Roepts is situated in the middle of the Robbenoord forest. On the one side you will find the 'IJsselmeer's and on the other side you will find the world heritage site 'De Waddenzee'! In between is the famous 'Afsluitdijk'. This is a great place for walking, cycling, swimming and relaxing. But you are also welcome for a little more adventure. Have you ever walked across the mud flats? Followed a mountain bike clinic, visited Texel or just lit a fire outside? It is all possible here! We are always accessible by car. You can park here on the communal car park. By public transport you can get to Den Oever, from there it is 4.5 km cycling, walking or hitchhiking to the campsite. And if you really can't get there, we can usually pick you up from the bus station in between jobs. By the way, bicycles can be rented here.
