Three bedroom, stone cottage located in the popular, historical village of Heddon on the wall, Northumberland. Ideal for a family break, people walking Hadrians Wall, golfers, cyclists or for any other many reasons to have a stay away. This stone property has just been fully refurbished and all fixtures and furnishings are brand new. This spacious accommodation comprises of: Entrance Hall, open plan living/dining room with stone fireplace, fantastic size kitchen fitted with granite worktops, dishwasher, and American style fridge/freezer and utility room with washing machine and dryer. There are three bedrooms, all benefiting from fitted wardrobe and televisions. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suites, each comprising of WC, wash hand basin and showers. The main bedroom and third bedroom come with a king size bed and the second comes with 2 single beds. The family bathroom is fitted with a WC, wash hand basin, walk in shower and free standing bath. The property is of a high standard, offering tiled flooring with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Externally, there is a driveway to the front along with a patio area to the rear which is south facing allowing you to sit outside in your own private area. Carters Cottage is situated in the historic and popular village of Heddon on the Wall, near Hadrians Wall in Northumberland which is only 0.3 miles away from the property. The village is a perfect location for anyone looking to go on walks along Hadrian's wall path or the public footpaths along the Tyne Valley and River Tyne. The village is situated next to Close House Golf Club which held the 2018 British Masters. There are two local pubs, The Three Tuns and The Swan inn, with the latter being only a stones throw away. The Three Tuns is also close by and is a 90 second walk away from the cottage. Both offer fantastic meals, drinks and are family friendly. Heddon on the Wall also offers great links to the A69, A1, and Newcastle Airport all of which are easily accessible. Newcastle City Centre is located approximately 10.1 miles away and there are buses that will take you directly from the village. Newcastle Airport is located 5.7 miles. The village has two bus stops where you can get either the 685, X84 or X85 and these will take you directly to Newcastle City Centre with the 685, in return, taking you to Carlisle.
