A stunning converted first floor barn situated in the quiet village of Drayton, only two miles from the historic town of Banbury. The property has a bright and airy interior and modern furnishings. Treetops can sleep up to 4 guests in two bedrooms, the super king bed room can be converted into two singles if required and an additional 1child on a sofabed in the lounge. The property is situated in a picturesque valley with outstanding views of the beautiful countryside. Sit back and relax in the lounge and watch the sun go down from the Juliet balcony. This location really does offer peace and serenity. Treetops is well located on the Stratford road within easy reach of the Cotswolds , Bicester Village, Oxford and only an hours train journey to London Marylebone. Treetops is at first floor level with access via a feature spiral staircase. Here you will walk into the open plan dining/living area where you will find a small dining table, a sofa and reclining armchair seating four comfortably with a flat screen TV. The lounge area is bright and airy with french doors opening to a Juliet balcony offering stunning views across the countryside. There is a small fully equipped kitchen with all utensils and pans you need to cook comfortably and a 6 bottle wine fridge. There is a fan oven and hob with overhead extractor, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Off of the kitchen is a family bathroom with an overhead Mira digital shower. We provide complimentary toiletries including soap, shampoo and conditioner for your stay. Through the kitchen along the oak floorboards leads into a double bedroom. Access to the second bedroom is via the double room. This self contained luxury room with a superking bed has its own en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. It has its own microwave, fridge with kettle with tea and coffee facilities enjoyed around a coffee table with bucket seating for two. Both rooms have fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers and a flat screen TV. There is ironing facilities in the property and access to a washing machine and tumble dryer on the ground floor below the property. All cotton bed linen and towels are provided for your stay with a complimentary welcome basket on arrival. A travel cot for babies and highchair are available on request. There is ample parking outside the property on a private driveway. All guests have the use of a private garden attached to the hosts property with access to a gas BBQ and an outdoor seating area with parasol. We are always available during your stay. We live in the house adjacent to the property but will always respect your privacy. If we are away we are contactable by phone or email and happy to help. Treetops is located in the village of Drayton only a 5 minute drive from the local town of Banbury, famous for Banbury Cross. Drayton has a quaint local village pub, The Roebuck serving Hook Norton Ales and pub food withing a few minutes walk. There is a small 17th century church in the village. There are many supermarkets including a large 24 hour Tesco, Sainsburys and Waitrose withing 10 minutes by car or many restaurants in the town of Banbury or local villages. Treetops is situated on the Stratford road leading you straight into the Historic Market Town of Stratford Upon Avon in 30 minutes. Here you can enjoy one of William Shakespeare's famous plays at the Royal Shakespeare Company and dine in a large range of restaurants for pre-theatre dinner. Drayton is very close to the many beautiful towns and villages in the Cotswolds. Enjoy afternoon tea in Stow-on-the Wold, Bourton on the water and Morton in the Marsh to name a few with many National Trust properties in the surrounding area like Upton House. Visit Daylesford Organic Farm shop only 30 minutes from the property and enjoy the Bamford spa for some extra relaxation. Blenheim Palace, Birthpace of Sir Winston Churchill has many events on throughout the year and admire the stunning park and gardens. Silverstone British Grand Prix is a 25 minute drive off of the M40 motorway. Bicester Village outlet shopping centre is accessible by car or train within 20 minutes. The property is only 1 hour on the train to London Marylebone and 45 minute to Birmingham city Centre with links to Birmingham International airport. Oxford is accessible within 20 minutes on the train. There are many walks surrounding the area. Wroxton Abbey grounds backs onto the property offering luscious gardens and lakes.
