This amazing converted pub has 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, lounge, huge dining table seating 16 and a fully fitted kitchen. The perfect weekend retreat or mid week business getaway location - spoil yourself, this venue is amazing just read our reviews! We can arrange anything you need from taxis, catering, activities, wine tasting, pamper sessions, to cocktail flairing! A real emphasis on luxury and a boutique hotel feel. Four floors of heaven and all within 1 hour of London. A fabulous Grade 2 listed Victorian pub, now luxury self catering accommodation for up to 16 people under 50 minutes from the centre of London. We cater for families who want to celebrate a special occasion or just want to get together for family time, to companies who want the ultimate corporate getaway and the opportunity to hire their own private boutique hotel. The Bull has a fully equipped kitchen, utility room, dining area with a table seating 16, sitting room with plenty of comfy sofas, open fire, media room with 65" Ultra HD TV, 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, 6 of which are en suite, 2 more WC's on ground floor. Four of the king size beds will split into singles. South facing courtyard. Only 30 minutes from the coast. The Bull at Brenchley was built in 1864 and retains many of the original features - but with mod cons too! The ceilings are high and the dining area and sitting room are open plan. These used to be the bars in the pub. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 7 burner hob, double oven and grill. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and microwave in the utility room. The pantry is full of dishes, bowls, jugs - everything you could possibly want. So if you are real foodies you won't be short of utensils, pots and pans. All of the bedrooms are good sizes, the smallest room has bunk beds with full size 3' beds. Six of the bedrooms have en suite showers or bathrooms, 4 of which have under floor heating and demister mirrors. The 7th shower room is on the top floor and is between two bedrooms so would be ideal for a family who want to be next to their children. The original beer cellar is now a TV media room with a 65" curved Ultra HD TV with Sky TV, YouTube, Netflicks. For business visitors looking for a business planning/strategy away day, the TV will link to your laptop with an HDMI cable, so it's great for presentations and our quoted prices are inclusive of VAT, so it's a very good deal! We also have a projector and screen available for business visitors. This room has reduced head height in relation to the 9' ceilings upstairs, but unless you are 6'4 plus you will be able to stand up in the middle. There is also an area to sit and play cards or games and two huge sofas for lounging around. There is an old fashioned record player and LP's and a Karaoke machine. We have Super Fast Fibre Optic Broadband because we know how important it is! You will be able to stream TV on your laptop and work if you really have to. The beer garden is a small south facing deck and patio area. There is plenty of space to sit and eat with a large dining table and parasol. It's a pretty garden that is private, with outside fairy lights for evenings. We would stress that Brenchley is a small village and we ask our guests not to remain outside after 11pm as the noise travels and may disturbs our neighbours. The whole pub is yours! All four floors are for your exclusive use, we want you to make yourself at home and thoroughly enjoy The Bull. We hope we have thought of everything that will make your stay special. For business guests staying Monday to Thursday we can provide everything you need. Consider The Bull your own private boutique hotel. We can arrange team building activities, full catering - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maid service and a bar and transport. Next door is the Little Bull a coffee shop/wine bar so you can pop out for a break. What ever you need we will sort it out. Next door to The Bull is The Little Bull - a cafe/wine bar selling speciality coffee, beautiful wines, meat and cheese platters and home made pizza's fresh from a pizza oven. Perfect if you don't want to make coffee yourself in the morning. They also sell brunch and will bring it all to you in The Bull if you prefer - consider them your 'in house' caterers! If you would like caterers for a special event, or to cater for the whole of your stay, do let us know because we can recommend several great local caterers who use local produce and can cook you anything from a home made pizza, fish pie or Michelin star cuisine. We can offer our guests VIP tours of Kent or London with an experienced guide who knows every nook and cranny. We can also arrange for private access to many fabulous events that take place in the South East - just let us know what you are looking for. We are also very happy to put you in touch with anything else you might want to make your stay unique and amazing; wine tasting, cocktail making, massage/make up, hairdressers, local attractions, taxis - you name it we will be able to put you in touch with a local business who can help you and who we trust. We are spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants in the area. We can recommend real English pub food, restaurants with views of Kent that will take your breath away, restaurants in vineyards and numerous coffee shops, restaurants, bars and pubs in The Pantiles which is the historic part of Tunbridge Wells - absolutely not to be missed if you want to truly savour Kent. Brenchley is a lovely Tudor village, many of the houses are from the 16th Century. The Bull is Victorian because the original thatched pub burned down 150 years ago. There are fabulous walks that take you to many pubs in the local area. Matfield is a neighbouring village with a village green and three pubs surrounding it. Cricket matches and village fetes take place on the green. Horsmonden 2 miles in the opposite direction has been voted the best Village Stores in England. Brenchley is situated just off the A21 which leads to Hastings and other fabulous towns on the coast, Brighton is an hour away. The A21 is off the M25 at junction 5 and gives easy access to Gatwick airport 38 miles and Heathrow 60 miles. There is a regular bus service that stops outside the oak tree in Brenchley and will take you to Tunbridge Wells in 16 minutes. The Bull doesn't have any allocated parking - when it was built horses were the mode of transport - there is still a hitching rail should you want to arrive by horse. However, there is a small public car park at the rear of The Bull, plus parking to the front and around the oak tree in the centre of the village. All of these spaces are within 1 min walk to the front door. There are no yellow lines or streetlights in the village. Brenchley is a bustling little village with a beautiful Grade 1 listed Tudor church. It's like something out of Four Weddings and a Funeral with the bells ringing and the bride coming out of the Church. There is a Post Office that closes for lunch and on Saturday afternoons. Terry's Butchers also close on a Saturday afternoon. If you want to do some serious shopping though you are spoiled for choice. M&S and Waitrose are within 5 minutes drive. Tunbridge Wells with the famous Pantiles and the town centre is 15 minutes drive. Maidstone with a huge shopping centre is 20 minutes and Bluewater is 40 minutes away. The nearest station to get you to London is Paddock Wood, less than 5 minutes away and 42 minutes to London Bridge station. Kent is stuffed full of interesting and historic places to visit and Brenchley is ideally placed to reach them all.
