This two storey Cotswold limestone cottage was built c.1810 and has a beautiful walled garden, two space gravel parking and pub opposite. The modernised house is furnished sympathetically in keeping with its heritage. Downstairs is a hallway, dining area, kitchen, restroom and comfortable sitting room, complete with wood burning stove & TV. Upstairs is the master bedroom, second double bedroom and a generous sized bathroom, with bath and shower and his and her basins and storage. - Great pub, The Craven Arms, opposite with lovely food - hilltop countryside village with minimal traffic and stunning walks surrounding - garden - outdoor seating area - off-road parking - fully equipped kitchen - wood buring stove - hallway - large bathroom with bath - antique furnishings - beautiful location The entire house is yours to use with a private garden out front and off-road parking. There is an extremely nice typical English village pub opposite the cottage called the Craven Arms, serving drinks all day and delicious meals at lunchtime and in the evening. Brockhampton itself is a lovely village clinging to the side of the Cotswold escarpment, surrounded by hills offering lovely walks, bike rides and picnic spots. Other Cotswold villages close by include well-known beauty spots such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold. Entry is be key safe and all necessary items are in the cottage already. However, I am available to message or phone should you require any assistance. Brockhampton is a country hamlet located in the heart of the spectacular Cotswolds, east of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It is a picturesque place, surrounded by fields and rivers, with multiple footpaths allowing you to easily explore the local area. The village also includes The Craven Arms, a 16th century pub opposite the house, which won Pub of the Year in 2018. The village is remote, but is serviced by the 804 bus running through Temple Guiting and Cheltenham. Additionally, there are regular trains to the Cotswolds area from London Paddington, with the closest stations being Moreton-in-Marsh and Kingham, a 25 minute taxi ride. Although many will choose to drive to explore the gorgeous countryside, avid bikers and walkers can also enjoy the freedom and views of the surrounding lanes and tracks. There are lovely walks all around over the Cotswold Hills, and the cottage is only 7 miles from all the facilities Cheltenham has to offer. Iconic Cotswold villages and towns are in close proximity with a wealth of country gastro pubs.
