We have worked hard to update and refurbish this traditional miners cottage for your perfect break in far west Cornwall. With new carpets and flooring throughout the living and bedroom areas, brand new kitchen appliances and tableware and neutral decor, we are sure you will be delighted. If you’ve never visited St Just and discovered the many delights the area has, you are in for a real treat. With amazing beaches and coves within 10 minutes drive, there is no shortage of places to swim and surf and for the more adventurous paragliding and kitesurfing are also available. The South West Coast Path is magnificent for walkers and you will often spot seals bobbing their heads up! With three bedrooms, Number Nine can comfortably accommodate six guests and we think the two separate reception rooms are perfect, revisit family board games around the dining table or pour a glass of wine and enjoy a cosy night in front of the log burner. Private parking in our garage is a definite benefit, and we have also have, for your use, a parking permit for a private space just a few yards away at the end of the lane. Please note Large 4x4’s will struggle to manoeuvre into our garage, the kids won’t be too disappointed as we have a little games table in there for rainy days along with plenty of space to store your surf boards and bikes (please ensure you have adequate insurance for these items). Our sunny, west facing courtyard space is yours to enjoy with a pub style picnic bench for outside dining. Number Nine is just a five minute walk into the centre of thriving St Just with it’s cafes, pubs,galleries, independent butchers and greengrocers as well as small supermarket and convenience stores. There are no shortage of dining options; great pub food, fish and chips, stone baked pizza and Chinese without even getting in your car! It’s a real bustling little town with a perfect mix of year round Cornish residents and happy holidaymakers! Whether you choose a bucket and spade beach holiday or enjoy being more active there is plenty to do for all the family whatever their interests. Enjoy a spot of shop fuddling in St Ives after visiting The Tate or one many beautiful Cornish Gardens nearby. Our mining heritage is fascinating and deserves a closer look whether enjoyed on a walk around the Crown Mines at Bottallack or a taking in a visit to Geevor (their pasties are worth a visit alone!). It’s easy to try and cram too much in; Minack Theatre, Lands End, Porthcurno, historic fishing villages and harbours so don’t forget to take time to chill too, beautiful walks lead from the cottage door down through Cot Valley, you really don’t have to do much at all!
