‘Inspire’- charming brick cottage in Suffolk

Welcome to our holiday let brick cottage in Hoxne. The cottage has one double and one twin bedroom (with a wardrobe) suitable for up to 4 guests, areas to sit inside & out (enclosed sunny rear courtyard garden), country kitchen/diner (retro style fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher & washing machine) & stylish bathroom. Two pet dogs are welcome to join you too (see pet supplement/info under ‘house rules’). Come & enjoy the cottage, the village & local area/walks. Let’s all be Inspired! Inspire is entirely for yourselves to use with its own front door and enclosed rear courtyard garden with furniture to accommodate four sitting out in the garden. Whilst indoors, there is a two seater sofa and two chairs in the living room along with a circular dining table with four chairs in the kitchen/diner. We are the hosts of Inspire & we are the cleaners too! We’ll ensure the cottage is cleaned top to bottom and that everything will be in working order for our guests to stay. Key access to Inspire is via a Masterlock key storage box. An unique 4 digit access code will be sent to you within 24 hours prior to arrival. We live an hour away from Inspire, so we are available via the Airbnb messaging service or mobile contact during your stay. Hoxne - a beautiful and quaint North Suffolk village surrounded by many working farms. The village maybe small in size, but makes up for it with its active and thriving community. The pretty village is renowned for its treasure trove of Roman Empire coins from 4th/5th centuries along with Holy Warrior King of East Anglia - King Edmund, Goldbrook bridge and its curse! You can take a walk following the circular route around the village or joining the National Cycle Route No.30 which passes by; sit and admire the village green; there is a local Post Office which interconnects with the village deli and small tearooms with outside seating. Both sit opposite the locally renowned The Swan Inn Of Hoxne - a countryside feel to this public house whilst being positioned in the heart of the village beside the River Dove. A large garden to enjoy and they are happy to welcome us humans and our canine companions. Larger villages of Eye and Debenham are within 10 miles with the larger market town of Diss being 5 miles across the county border into Norfolk. The coast at Southwold can be found under an hour’s drive. We do recommend arriving to Inspire by car. Hoxne is connected via A12/A14 and found 5 minutes drive from A140 (Ipswich - Norwich Road). Parking is unrestricted outside the cottage and anywhere in the village (main road in the village is free of double yellow lines). By having a car with you during your stay enables you to explore this exciting region of UK. Mainline train station is approximately 5 miles away in Diss. INSPIRE is a self-catering cottage. We believe it is important to provide a sparkling clean cottage for your stay. For added piece of mind, we are disinfecting/cleaning following guidelines set by Airbnb. This is in an effort to minimise the spread of Covid-19. We do include the following for your stay: a carton of skimmed milk; teabags; instant coffee, sugar, sweetener; hot chocolate; oil for cooking; salt & pepper; toilet rolls (x2); kitchen roll; liquid hand soap; washing up liquid; dishwasher tablets; washing gel for washing machine and during the Winter period (1st November through to Easter Monday) a bucket of logs for the open fire along with matches and fire starters. Bed linen; bath towels; tea towels and oven gloves are provided. Pet pooches are most welcome! Please see under ‘house rules’ section for further info & pet supplement(s) payable towards their stay at Inspire. Please do advise us if a dog(s) will be bringing their little suitcase(s) too. Please bear in mind, that due to location, mobile signal can come and go at times (depending on your mobile network provider). Also, the village of Hoxne can on occasions have a low water supply - sometimes water pressure is reduced inside properties throughout the village.
