Little house on the dike "Koog Kate"

The "Koog Kate" (Little house on the dike) is located directly on the inner dike. The thatched cottage is charming and everything is a little crooked. It was renovated in 2020 and offers three manageable bedrooms and a large living and dining area that merges into the kitchen. You can go directly to the terrace or to the garden. The semi-detached house is very idyllically situated, mobile phone and WiFi reception is moderate. This little house is a small oasis. Nestled between several thatched cottages, the house lies in the wilderness in a cul-de-sac. The furnishing is lovely and simple. The natural wooden floors in the rooms as well as the thatched roof create a pleasant room climate. Games invite you to spend an evening together - or you can go out onto the dike and watch the sunset over the North Sea while the sheep graze around you. There is a small barbecue and a shed for storing your own things (bicycles or similar) - if you want to relax you can lie down in the deck chairs in the garden. You can add an extra bed in the single room, as it can be pulled out. Children's travel bed (up to 3 years) and high chair are available. However, the apartment is not explicitly designed for child safety. We live right next door and can be reached if you have any questions. We can also give you helpful ideas for your journey. Right at the Wadden Sea you live with the tides and nature. Here you can let your soul dangle, make exciting excursions or ship tours. If you like, you will find beautiful water sports spots here. In many corners you can discover wonderful little garden cafés, which make the visitors happy with homemade cakes. When it rains, Phänomania attracts children and adults to explore physical experiments or you can go to Tönning to see the whale in the sea world - there is something for every mood and every weather in the rural area. On the property of the house there are two car parking spaces, bicycles can be kept dry in the shed. Additional fees: The electricity is determined by meter reading before departure and is charged directly at 30 cents/kWh. The washing machine can be used for a fee of 3,-€/laundry by arrangement. It is located in the bathroom.
