Quiet street with lovely private, enclosed garden, secure store and washing/drying area for bikes & muddy clothes! Home from home with everything you need, including coffee machine & wifi. Walking distance to the high street with it's unique gift shops, cafes and restaurants. The cottage has a lovely enclosed private garden with outdoor furniture. There is an outside tap which is perfect for washing down bikes or muddy outdoor gear. The secure basement has washing and drying facilities and can be used to store bikes. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a coffee machine. We also have games, books and magazines for you to enjoy. We have a single camp bed for a third person although we do charge £15 extra, per stay to cover cleaning costs. Please note the garden is not currently fully secure so if you have a young dog/child there is still potential for an escapee! You will have full access to the cottage and garden. I am more than happy to help with as much as I can. I live nearby and can answer any questions you may have about the area, give dinner recommendations or suggest places to visit. The cottage is walking distance to the high street which has lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. It is also near to the beginning of the cycle path which takes you to Glentress and Innerleithen. Peebles is 22 miles from Edinburgh and has regular bus service which will take you directly to the city centre. Please note that over the Christmas and New Year period we may be looking for bookings of 3 nights and more. Please do contact me if you have any further questions.
