Large room in modernised cottage

Our house was originally a coastguard cottage and is in the Ashlett Creek conservation area. As you can see has great views over Southampton Water. It is close to the New Forest with its heath-lands, woods and ponies. The room is large and airy with a king sized bed and fabulous views over the water. Private bathroom. We have a second room which is single and MAY SOMETIMES be available as part of the same letting for an extra £10 per night (PLEASE INQUIRE BEFORE BOOKING). Tea and coffee facilities in the room. PLEASE ALSO NOTE that very occasionally we have a family member staying in the single room who would therefore share the bathroom but usually leaves for work by 6.30am. IF THIS IS A PROBLEM please contact us before booking to see if she can make alternative arrangements. Guests may use the large garden and balcony. Although down a pretty, rural lane that runs down to the sea we are in easy reach of many pretty towns, villages and tourist attractions. The city ( 25 mins), Hythe marina (10 mins) the beautiful coastal town of Lymington (25mins), historic Romsey with its abbey (30 mins) and the village of Beaulieu with the National Motor Museum (10 mins). There is a pretty pub at the bottom of the garden which serves food but you will need to check their restaurant opening times. Half a mile in the village there is a bus stop where buses run approx. every hour. A non cooked breakfast is included.
