The apartment is located on the ground floor of a former schoolhouse dating from 1888. The apartment is ideally located between Franconian Switzerland (a popular climbing and hiking area), Erlangen (university, Siemens) and Nuremberg (trade fair, Christmas market). It owes its special charm to the many architectural elements (e.g. Franconian floorboards). The garden invites you for breakfast, barbecue and relaxation, the direct surroundings for extensive hikes and bike tours. The apartment is on the ground floor and comprises 2 bedrooms, a living room (30 m2), a study, a small bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. The hallway outside the apartment leads to the kitchen (former school kitchen) with direct access to the garden. In the kitchen there is a 3-burner gas stove (one for wok), a microwave hot air combination unit, refrigerator, two sinks and the necessary cooking utensils as well as a cosy dinette. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Please do not let the cat into the apartment, so that also allergic persons feel comfortable in it. You will dwell on the ground floor. The hallway outside the separate apartment leads to the kitchen which is for your use. From there you reach the garden (through side entrance door). The hallway in front of your apartment also leads to the main entrance door and to the staircase which leads to the part of the house we live in. We will occasionally meet there. You are free to use the garden, to enjoy the morning sun on the bench in the east, to have breakfast, to grill (small Weber grill is available) or simply to relax. I am available for my guests.
