The comfortable open plan living, well-equipped kitchen and central location make this property perfect for a couple wanting a romantic break exploring this beautiful area. The glorious coastline is ideal for walker and bird watching. 10 minutes drive to North Yorkshire moors 5 minutes from nearest beach Whitby is 20 minutes away by car. Sports centre with swimming pool nearby So close to almost everything, 5 minutes by car to the nearest beach famous for its sandbanks, 10 minutes to the next one, All have fabulous walks, 20 minutes away from the famous Whitby and all its Dracula connections, Draculas gravestone at the lovely Whitby Abbey the very popular famous and amazing Goth Weekends twice a year , beach, boat trips, lovely pier, beautiful scenery on the drive there choice of moor route or coastal route, 5 minutes away from the beautiful North Yorkshire moors, with all its lovely villages , great eating places,stunning views, fabulous walks and of course, the sheep, closer to ‘home’ we have some really good eating places only a short distance away, very local pubs and takeaways, Skinningrove Chippy definitely recommended. All restaurant/cafes in the property are recommended by myself, if I haven’t been I can’t recommend, but I’m trying to get round most of them, although the building is on the main high street it’s accessed through a door leading to a courtyard which means peaceful and private, local co-op next door equipped for almost every need open 6am -10pm , dog friendly , secure small garden/patio area , small child friendly, I have a travel cot available, but don’t provide bedding for the travel cot! . If you don’t want to drive, there is a bus stop either side of the main road , taxi service numbers in the cottage are also recommended by myself.
