The local pub The Griffin is open for a refreshing drink/ food please check opening times. This charming cottage with its lovely sizeable garden will help you to relax and unwind in a peaceful and rural setting. For the budding artists among you take some wildlife photos at the reservoir and paint your pics using the summerhouse as your workstation it is so peaceful and relaxing or just enjoy alfresco dining in the garden. Pitsford Water is right on the doorstep, in walking distance either a ten minute walk through the village or across the fields via the footpath outside the cottage. For the keen cyclists the Brampton Valley way is a short cycle ride and you can cycle miles on the disused train line meandering through the Northamptonshire countryside. Next to the entrance happens to be The Holt a fine Northamptonshire pub which is very popular with locals and visitors perfect way to start or end your days activities.
