The Tower at Featherhill

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space set in Orange Virginia just two miles from James Madison’s Montpellier. The Tower is on three acres in the country. The town of Orange is five minutes away with cute shops and restaurants. There are many vineyards within twenty miles or just stay put enjoying the flower gardens and views. The Tower was designed to give the main house a sitting room to take in the amazing views of the Blue Ridge mountains. It does this perfectly! The living room, bathroom, and coffee tea area are on the ground floor with access to the porches. A Nespresso machine with a selection of regular and decaf coffees available as well as a tea pot for tea. A small refrigerator and table ware for two are supplied as well. Up the alternate tread staircase is a spacious bedroom with a queen bed loveseat and work area looking out over the mountains. Country Setting The Tower is attached to the main house by the breezeway. The alternate staircase takes a bit to get used to. The staircase is designed to get twice as high in half the space. It’s a bit steep. So if someone has vision issues or a bad hip or knee please consider this may make it more difficult to maneuver.
