Village Home with a View
Beautifully-located, self-contained apartment with countryside views adjoining a detached character house. Has own entrance door which leads into a living space with fitted kitchen, dining and sofa area. This room leads to a hallway with separate (but small) WC and shower rooms. At the end of the hall is a large bedroom with King Size bed (or option of Twin beds). The living space has 2 sofa beds to allow for up to 4 guests in total. Local pub 1-min walk away. Fantastic walks on the doorstep. The apartment has recently been renovated with new furniture and decoration. The living space has a modern, fresh feel with a generous dining and living space and a fitted kitchen. The bedroom has a King size or Twin beds with a picture-window and french doors. There is a private patio area in the lawned garden. Parking for multiple cars is available on site. The local pub, The Golden Cock, is a one minute walk away. Please note, the WC is in a small room that has a low, sloped ceiling, as it is a room that is under-the-stairs of the adjoining house. Some older, taller or less mobile guests may find that the space is too small. However for others, it will not be a problem. Please see previous reviews. We know you're away for a break, so we won't impose. You are in a private space. But we will be available if you have any questions. We know lots of nice walks, and the best pubs and restaurants - and we're happy to share our tips, as well as answering any questions about the AirBnB. The apartment is in the heart of the picturesque village of Farnley Tyas - with quaint school and church. Close to the famous town of Holmfirth, the apartment is surrounded by walks, fields and farmland to explore. Close to a number of pubs, including the neighbouring Golden Cock. The apartment is also convenient for the nearby towns of Huddersfield, Wakefield, Halifax and within commuting distance of Leeds & Manchester.
