Charming 100 year old house near downtown Champaign, local churches, and Westside Park. Guests can easily walk downtown for events and to campus. Have hosted International students for more than a decade. If you like old house charm, this is the house for you. If you like being close to downtown and the arts/music scene, and to campus, this is definitely for you. While there are no laundry facilities, the first and second floors are yours to use including kitchen facilities. Guests who play the piano are encouraged to play our piano! Guests have first and second floor and patio to themselves during stay. The host stays in the backyard cottage during your stage. Home is a few blocks from downtown Champaign and close to campus. There is a Catholic Grade school nearby. It’s a great neighborhood. It’s easy to walk to campus and downtown and bus/train station is a few blocks away. There are area churches close by, a city park, and the public library. Plenty of places to dine nearby.
