There's central heating and hot water via a combi-boiler so hot water is always available on tap - great if you're coming in from a day's walking on the moors or surrounding countryside. The modern interior is complimented with comfy bed and sumptuous pillows, white pressed bed linen and fluffy towels. It's all on one level, however, guests should note that there are two steps into the property and internally there is one step up to the en suite. This is a great location for exploring the region that's featured in many TV programmes. "Where the Heart Is", "Last of the Summer Wine", "Gentleman Jack", "Last Tango in Halifax", "Happy Valley" and many more. Our position on the edge of the Pennines and Dales makes it an ideal spot to explore the surrounding valleys, villages and the moors. There are a number of restaurants and traditional pubs for real ale or quality food nearby and plenty of taxi services if you feel like leaving the car behind for the night.
