This lovely rural cottage is just 15 minutes from the coast, 5 miles from Aylsham and the Blickling Estate and just a short drive to the market town of Holt. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway this is the place for you. Ramblers Retreat has a lovely enclosed garden to the rear with sun all through the day. The decking at the back with the outback BBQ makes for a lovely evening. There are bean bags and blankets to sit out on. If it’s too cold then head in and light the fire! On the first floor there is a family bathroom and 3 lovely bedrooms, 2 of which are doubles and the other is a twin room. On the ground floor you have the light and airy modern kitchen diner, cosy lounge with log burner and sofa bed and a WC. LRPM management look after this property. Saxthorpe is a quaint village with huge amounts of history. It was even mentioned in the Doomsday book and the parish church dates back to 1492! Saxthorpe has a sister village, Corpusty where there is a village pub on the green. This is just a 10 minute walk from Ramblers Retreat and makes for a lovely stroll on a summers evening. This is a perfect spot for dog walking and those that love being in the great outdoors. There are many walking routes nearby plenty of fields to let your dogs off and stretch their legs! There are regular bus routes to Reepham and Holt. - Please do leave the fire unattended when lit. - Please ensure that beanbags and blankets are brought in overnight and are not left in the rain. - No glasses are to be used outside, however we have provided high quality reusable plastic alternatives for you.
