Schladern - Large home, private

CORONA UPDATE: To limit risks of transmission, I have moved to an apartment in the cellar. The kitchen and dining/living rooms may be used at any time. These former "communal areas" are now private during your stay - just for you. 4 bedrooms (each sleeps up to 3 people, more if you don't mind being a bit squeezed) and 2 full baths. Schladern is a nice town in beautiful Windeck. The hiking trails are very popular, as are the local beergarden (Elmores) and the fortified castle ruins of Burg Windeck. As much or as little as you like. 150m from my house, through a residential area, you reach the hiking trails through the forest - and you can make it to the Burgruine Alt-Windeck in approx. 30 minutes. The castle ruins are the main attraction in the area, and they are approximately (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) years old. We are pretty rural... On the other hand, the house is about 150m walk from the local Regional Express train line (RE9), and you can make it to Köln Messe-Deutz (Cologne Trade Fair) in 43 minutes. There are also two commuter trains (S-12 and S-19) that take about an hour into town. RE 9 (RegionalExpress) - straight into Cologne in 43 minutes. S-12 & S-19 (S-Bahn) - straight into Cologne in about 58 minutes. This is our home - we live here. (My apartment in the cellar is right below the living room - so please no late-night parties.)
