The Villa is walking distance to the charming village. The area is rich in Sicilian history and culture. The home boasts wifi compatibility and has air conditioning. A beautiful get away any time of the year. Come here to relax and unwind and travel the rest of the countryside at your leisure. If you book for longer than 2 weeks, we can be on hand to help you navigate the entire Island of Sicily. There are many churches and quaint shops in the village. Everything from home made gelato, breads and pasta are just a walk or scooter ride away. Nearby towns like Palermo, Caltergirone, and Taormina are less than an hour or two by car. You can easily rent a car, scooter or travel by bus. The biggest city with an airport is Catania, one hour away. You can safely walk into the quaint little town for groceries and a slice of home made pizza! The home has air conditioning and fully closing shutters for the summer sun. This means that the home stays very cool even in July and August. Bring your own portable WIFI, this is available at any cell phone store in Italy. If you need to watch TV, bring your lap top and download Netflix before you come. This is a peaceful retreat to write and to spend time with family. We will never plan on mounting any TV's so please don't request :-) We can arrange the following to round out your Villa stay, just request and we can happily give you rates.
