Transylvanian Cottage near Sibiu (free bikes)

The guesthouse is located in the middle of Transylvania, in Porumbacu de Sus, on the road leading to Negoiu mountain peak, between Sibiu and Transfagarasan. The village is an authentic Transylvanian village, a great starting point for travelling around the area: medieval town Sibiu, Balea lake, saxon villages, fortresses & other sites. Perfect for hiking & biking in the deep forests of the Carpathians. It is an old barn that has been renovated in a cosy and confortable way. This separate family suite has 2 rooms, one bathroom and a balcony with stunning mountain view. The entrance room has an extandable sofa and the bedroom has a king size bed. On ground floor there is a shared traditional kitchen (fully equiped) with dinning space. You can order breakfast and dinner paired with traditional drinks. Please prior communicate your choices. Extra fees apply for meals. There is also a big front yard with barbecue and two kiosks. Two rivers cross the big backyard where children can have lots of fun. Breathtaking mountain views - Carpathians with peak Negoiu. You can do trekking in the Transylvanian woods, go hiking to Negoiu or Balea and experience Transfagarasan mountain road. You can visit Sibiu, the old medieval town with it's city center or go to Avrig, only 7 km away where you can visit Brukenthal palace. Rasinari, the shepard village is 50 km away. Brasov is 100 km away. Besides the amazing city, here you can visit Bran castle and Rasnov fortress. Closest airport - Sibiu - is only 40 km away, Cluj airport is 200 km away, while Bucharest airport is 250 km away. You can hike, bike or drive.
