We have created a truly unique and special- eco glamping paradise in Oxfordshire. You have their own cosy cabins, with kitchens and wood burners - we provide camp fire wood . Exceptional care is taken not only with your stay but also the setting, to provide the most naturally beautiful backdrop for your celebrations. From arrival guests are transported into a natural oasis with meandering grassy paths taking you independent, stylish and private venue. This venue includes a Yurt and a Bell Tent. The Yurt sleep 9 and the Bell Tent sleeps 5. Our single beds can be easily changed to double so you can alter this to suit your stay. Set in beautiful Oxfordshire meadow with panoramic views over the ancient White Horse of Uffington, our 3 acre eco-friendly glamping paradise allows you to unwind with a group of your favourite people by taking you away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. All you'll need to do when you arrive is claim your futon, crack open a bottle of bubbly and settle down for a good catch-up. Our friendly team – As well as providing the food, we provide round the clock on site support. Whether its help with lighting your camp fire or directing you on a walk off site, there is always someone at hand to make your stay as smooth, easy and enjoyable as possible. With Oxfordshire’s central location we are perfectly situated. Set in over three acres of glorious meadow, near the charming market town of Faringdon, you couldn’t wish for a more picturesque site; greeted by winding wild flower paths, campfires and magical views of the White Horse of Uffington. WHAT TO DO The ancient Uffington White Horse is well worth a visit. After a short drive, you can hike to the top and take in beautiful views over Oxfordshire. As while as the White Horse pub at Woolstone there is also the choice of a Cream Tea in the summer months at Britcombe Farm Teapot. The town of Faringdon is a 10 min drive away, it’s on the sleepy side but does have some good charity shops, great for a Scavenger Hunt Game. There are horse riding stables near by and take a short drive to the town of Lechlade for boat/kayak hire on the River Thames and Watersports at Cotswold Watersports. Oxford is a 40 minute drive from the site which is best visited in the day for punting and sight seeing. BY CAR For sat navs please use the address: “Farmer Gows, SN7 7PR” We are just 30 minutes from Oxford and an hour and 40 minutes from London (approx. 30 mins from M4 Junct 15), please refer to the map shown below once near the site (we are in the middle of a field!); We use the same entrance as Farmer Gows – and when here just follow signs to the The Oxford Yurt. BY TRAIN Easily accessible by train our nearest railway station is Swindon, a 20 minute taxi ride from the site. There is a taxi rank outside the station, although if you prefer to pre-book then we recommend the following taxi companies: Vcars: (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) A1 Swindon Taxis: (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) -Towels are not provided. -Communal fridge. -It doesn’t however we do have excellent 4G. -No vehicles are allowed on site but we provide ample parking space approximately 50 yards from the site and pulley carts to ease the unloading/loading. -Each venue has solar power, providing power for lights and mobile phone charging. They also have their own portable music system to play your favourite tunes from. - If you can manage without hair dryers/straighteners for the weekend it would be appreciated, but if this is a struggle then some 12v appliances can be provided.
