A luxury Shepherd hut nestled in Kent Farmland. The perfect hideaway to escape the hubbub of everyday life. With amazing views over the fields and North Downs, you really can tuck yourselves away and just relax. The hut offers everything you would want for that luxury 'Glamping' experience..comfy bed with luxurious linens, log burning stove, private garden with bbq, firepit & your own personal bathroom with hot shower. We also offer the option of bed n& breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. The Shepherd Hut sits on the site of the old sheep fold, in a quiet corner of our land, nestled between the beautiful Staffhurst Woods and the rolling fields of the Kent Countryside. The hut has been hand-made in the traditional way with some very unique features, luxuriously finished to make your visit super comfortable. We have personally chosen the decor, the luxurious linens, the soft, fluffy towels to enhance the whole experience of your stay. The surrounding countryside offers a variety of walks, some of which pass our local pub -The Grumpy Mole - an absolute must to visit. If space away from the hustle and bustle of your busy everyday life is what you are looking for, the hut is the perfect escape, the space is calm, peaceful and private, allowing you to unwind to birdsong and the sound of the breeze through the trees. Although there is a reasonable phone signal we have deliberately left the hut wifi free, to enable you to switch off virtually and mentally. The space is yours to enjoy. Access to footpaths that run across our land and garden area by hut We are on site to check you in and are around during your stay to give you advise on local walks, national trust properties and good local pubs and restuarants to visit for a enjoyable lunch or dinner. We are nestled in the beautiful, open countryside, surrounded by woodland and fields. The hedgerows are filled with wild flowers and many native birds and wild animals. If you are lucky you will get to see our resident Barn Owl and the beautiful Red Kite that soar over our fields most days. In the Spring the local woodlands are filled with the most incredible display of bluebells but one of the highlights for us is after watching the sun set across the north downs is sitting and looking up at the stars that fill the vast dark sky at night. Your own transport is a necessity as we are not walking distance to any bus or train routes. However, although it feels like we are miles away from anything, we are only an 8 minute drive to the main trainline into London and a few minutes in the car to local shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Gatwick only 25 minutes away. We provide a continental breakfast basket from locally sourced suppliers. Provisions for a cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon & sausages) can be provided on request at an extra cost of £8 per person. Vegetarian & Vegan options available.
