Bootshaus an der Slavenburg

This newly renovated boathouse is stylish, spacious and equipped with everything you want for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Direct access to the river Warnow for swimming, water sports or fishing, a private garden, and nature right outside the door. 5 minutes walk takes you to the town for shopping, restaurants and facilities. The boathouse is 23 sqm, with a 10 sqm lounge/kitchen facing the river, 10 sqm bedroom with double bed at the rear and a shower/WC room. The kitchenette has 2 cooking rings, a fridge, kettle and all utencils you need. The lounge is comfortable and has a TV and radio/music streaming equipment. The WC is a modern Eco separating toilet and the water supply is from a well. But there is hot water for the shower and kitchen sink. There is a small private garden with sun loungers, a BBQ and jetty for fishing or swimming. Through a locked gate you gain access to our private property which includes the boathouse. One car can be parked by the private boathouse garden. In the main house we offer free WiFi and have a mini-bar, brochures for local attractions, and we also offer breakfast. The location has the best of everything - it is quiet but with all facilities just around the corner. On one side are fields and forest as far as the eye can see, on the other is the town with restaurants, shops and excellent transport connections. A herd of deer can always be seen on the fields behind the property, and many varieties of wild birds and animals are regularly seen at the riverside. The river Warnow is literally outside the door (and under the house itself) which can take you to the Butzow lake or on to Schwaan and Rostock. A rowing boat or canoe are available as are bikes. From Buetzow bahnhof you can catch an inter-city train to Rostock or Rugen in one direction and Schwerin and Hamburg in the other. There is also a leisure boat trip between Bützow and Schwaan from the harbour opposite. A luxurious breakfast can be had at the main house which can be booked the evening before. A permit is needed for fishing but we can help obtain one. Because the boathouse is in a nature area there is no fresh water supply or sewage.
