Just along the coast is the quaint village of Boscastle, with gift shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, making this an ever-popular visitor destination. The sandy beaches of Bossiney and Trebarwith Strand are within a short drive, as are the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath.
