Downtown Riverside Cottage w/ Outdoor Theatre

Our charming & cozy riverside cottage provides a perfect 'home away from home' for visiting Buckhannon, WV – A Small Town Getaway with Big Time Charm. Located in downtown Buckhannon, you can explore the locally-owned restaurants & shops of Main Street within minutes or admire the beauty of the river from the comforts of the backyard. Perfect for families and small groups, this space has a queen bed in the first bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and a large couch in the living room. It comfortably sleeps 4 but can accommodate an additional guest on the couch if needed. It offers a fully functional kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Additional amenities include a washer, dryer, Wifi, AC, Netflix and Hulu. Outside, you can find a a theatre screen and projector for watching movies, fishing gear for the river, a fire pit with camping chairs perfect for roasting s’mores, and a gas fire pit to keep warm on cooler nights. Guests have the entire house and yard available to them with the exceptions of an office in the back of the house and a closet in the master bedroom. Check-in is at 3 pm on the day of arrival and check-out is by 11 am on the day of departure. I can be easily reached by phone, text, or direct message when needed. Located in the backyard is the Buckhannon River, known for great canoeing and fishing. Although many locals swim in the river, it is not recommended. Please do not allow children in the backyard unsupervised as the river can be easily accessed. If the area is experiencing flooding, it is common for the river to rise above the riverbank and up to the storage building. 2 pet rabbits sometimes live in the back office. Despite best cleaning efforts, it is recommended that guest allergic to rabbits do not stay here.
