In low season the area is very quiet. Some restaurants and supermarkets open all year at town centre. The house is fully equipped to make your stay more comfortable: LIVING ROOM: Flat TV 50" (USB and HDMI) and air conditioning and heating. 600Mb Wi-Fi Internet. Also satellite TV is available, only free ASTRA channels. Sofa, armchair and modern dining table complete the space. Our KITCHEN provides optimal space and all the amenities and utensils to create an awesome meal using all local ingredients at your disposal at the nearest market. Ceramic hob, microwave-grill, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, hand blender, sandwich maker, squeezer, vacuum cleaner.. Condiments and basic foods for short stays (salt, vinegar & olive oil). BEDROOMS: The main one has a comfortable Double bed (140x200cm), modern headboard, bedside tables with 2 drawers, reading lamps, full length mirror and a built-in wardrobe with an electronic safe. The bunk bed one has single bed (90x190cm) on top and double bed (135x190cm), a wardrobe anchored to the wall, shelving and bedside table both with reading lamps. Both bedrooms have a coat rack behind the doors. OTHERS: Bed linen and towels are provided for as many guests showed on booking information. Professional hair straightener and hairdryer with diffuser are available on the BATHROOM, as well as dispensers for hand soap, gel and shampoo in the shower. First aid kit. Beach umbrella and 2 reclining beach chairs. Ironing board and iron. Our TERRACE is south east facing and has a double sliding awning in the most extensive area. It's a nice area as you are facing the sea and can use it's table and chairs to have your meal or breakfast. The apartment is suitable for children and for babies (under 2 years old). Please ask if you need our baby bath, diaper changer, high chair or cradle. Bed guard for twin bed also available. There is a locked PARKING on surface and the assigned parking space to our place is number 38, please use only this one to park your car, as other belong to other neighbours. The building is entered from the closed parking lot with automatic door. Once you reach the main door you can use the lift to go up to the appartment (you enter from the 2nd floor) or to go down to the pool (accessed by going down by the 1st). There are two rooftops if you want to hang up your laundry on the 5th and 6th (accessed with the keys provided on the kitchen). Up there, you will appreciate stunning views of the entire beach. The pool is for all neighbors and opens from 11 to 16 and from 18 to 22 hours every day (from the 1st of May to the 31st of October). The pool DOES NOT have a special zone for children, therefore children under 10 must always be accompanied by an adult. There is NO LIFEGUARD PERSONNEL AVAILABLE. There are foot baths and showers and areas for sunbathing. From the pool you can access the beach and the promenade by a private staircase with a key for the neighbors. Just down the stairs is the Chiringuito "El Arca", a little further on the right we come to the Beach Club of On-Hotels and Chiringuito Tucán which, during high season have great ambience and on weekends it brings live music groups. Unfortunately, while renting the whole apartment, we will not have much more relationship than to welcome you, give you the keys, all the information you may need for your stay and say goodbye when you leave. Of course, in case any issue arises, I will be available or there will always be a person that can assist you, so that your stay is as you imagined. Matalascañas or Torre de la Higuera, is a coastal area that belongs to Almonte (Huelva). Its enclave is ideal, being completely surrounded by the National and Natural Park of Doñana. It is the closest beach to Seville capital. The beach is 4.5 km long and is fine-grained white sand. The population density varies between Torre la Higuera (the "old town") and Caño Guerrero - El Coto (next to the Doñana National Park), with both ends being the busiest. The area where the penthouse is located is ideal for relaxation. It is in between the two busiest areas and, therefore, very quiet. This area of the beach is usually only accessed by holidaymakers in the area and not those who come to spend the day. In high season, we have a small supermarket open nearby and several restaurants just a few meters away, also beach bars (chiringuitos). In the low season only some restaurants and shops might be open, please keep that in mind when booking, as it is something that escapes pur control. In Matalascañas everything is close and you can get walking almost to all the places of interest. That if when the heat tightens it is advisable to use the car or take the urban bus. El Rocío village is also a place you should not miss. Right now the Virgen del Rocio is at Almonte not in her Ermita at El Rocío, at she is taken there every 7 years. Almonte is very well decorated for this event do not miss it. She will be back a week before her Romeria which in 2020 is on the night of the 31st of May. She is carried on Almonte's men shoulders all night long and brought back in to her Ermita in the morning. El Rocío is not asphalted and it is a very unique town with views of the Doñana marshes. BEACHES: Matalascañas, Playa del Coto (3km east), Playa de Castilla (2km west), Cuesta de Maneli - Playa El Asperillo (15km west- closed by the fire), Torre del Loro (18km west) , Beach of the National Parador of Mazagón (22km to the West), Mazagón (28km to the West). From SEVILLA on the A-49. Exit nº 48 to the A-483 "Almonte-P.N.Doñana". All straight to Matalascañas and, once there follow the signs Hotel On-Hotels 4 *. From HUELVA from the Avda. De Andalucía towards H-31 and exit 84B towards "La Rábida / Puerto". At the roundabout, take the N-442 to Mazagón. There take the A-494 to Matalascañas and, once there, follow the signs Hotel On-Hotels 4 *. From FARO: Take the A22 in Estói from Estr. De São Brás de Alportel / N2. Straight to IP1 (toll) and to the right at the fork, follow signs for "A22 / Espanha / Olhão" and merge onto A22 (toll). Entering SPAIN: continue on A-49, exit 87 on the N-431 direction "Huelva Norte". Then, in H-30 direction: first towards "Ctra. Gibraleón / H-30 "and, later, towards" Sevilla ". At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the N-442 to Mazagón. Once there, the A-494 to Matalascañas and, once there follow the indications Hotel On-Hotels 4 *. We have a private surface parking lot for the building (closed with an automatic door), our space number is 38. Please remember you can only park ONE vehicle inside the parking lot and ONLY ion Nº 38 (the rest belong to the rest of neighbors). There is a paid parking at the end of the street (Torre almenara) that offers bonuses if you need to park additional cars in high season (July-August). The accommodation can be reached by public transport from Seville or Huelva with the company DAMAS. From the bus stops there is a 20 minute walk to the apartment. - IMPORTANT: please respect the rules established due to COVID-19 and if you feel unwell, contact the Matalascañas health center. Telephone number is on the housing guide. - Keep in mind that the mobile number that appears on your profile is the one used to contact you. It is essential that there is a channel of communication between the guest and the host. - This apartment is registered as a Holiday Rental House (VFT/HU/00411) at the Registro de Turismo de Andalucia (RTA), which is a guarantee for guests as they will know that they are staying in a place that grants the habitability and security conditions required by the Administration. In order to comply, we also need to check-in our guests so it is essential that you always bring a valid documentation for us to fill in our check in papers. - Spain has a different time zone than the rest of neighboring countries (one hour more). Please, do not forget to take it into account if you arrive from the United Kingdom or Portugal. It is important to set the meeting time. - On Sundays most of the shops and stores remain closed. In addition, Mondays, most monuments and historical places, close as well. - Garbage is collected daily, so take it to the corresponding container when you need it, preferably after 8 pm. In summer time it is also collected between 2 pm and 4 pm. - Check the apartment well before leaving to make sure you do not forget anything.
